1. What are wood flowers?
Wood flowers are handmade blooms crafted from lightweight, sustainable wood—often from the root of the sola plant. Each flower is hand-shaped and painted to match any color palette. They never wilt like fresh flowers, making them a lasting, eco-friendly choice for weddings, events, gifts, or home décor.
2. How long do wood flowers last?
With proper care, wood flowers are designed to last a lifetime. They don’t wilt or fade like fresh flowers, and many customers keep their bouquets as cherished keepsakes for years after their event.
3. Do you offer custom designs?
Yes! At Tipsy Designs, custom work is at the heart of what I do. Whether it’s a wedding bouquet, a sports-inspired centerpiece, or a keepsake arrangement for your home, I work closely with you to create something unique and meaningful.
4. Can I see a sample before placing a full order?
Yes, I can provide a sample arrangement or bouquet to help you see colors and style before finalizing your order. Please note that additional fees may apply for samples.
5. Do you offer rentals for events or memorials?
Yes! I offer rentals for full arrangements, which is a great option for weddings, memorials, or events where long-term keepsakes aren’t needed.
6. How far in advance should I place my order?
Weddings and large events: 6–12 months in advance is best to secure your date.
Smaller custom orders: 2–4 weeks is usually enough.
School dance flowers: Please allow at least 14–21 days during wedding season, as these are worked in between larger orders.
7. Do you ship your products?
Yes, I ship across the U.S. Every arrangement is carefully packaged, and shipping costs are based on order size and destination. Local pickup in Wadsworth, Ohio, is also available by appointment.
8. What is your payment policy?
Weddings: A signed contract and 50% nonrefundable retainer are required to secure your date. The balance is due closer to your event.
Other orders: Full payment is required upfront to allow me to source materials and begin creating your flowers.
9. Can wood flowers be scented?
Wood flowers can be lightly scented upon request using floral or essential oils. I do not scent flowers before delivery, but you’re welcome to add your own scent to your arrangement once received.
10. How do I care for my wood flower arrangements?
Keep flowers in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or humidity.
Do not water them.
If dust accumulates, use a soft brush or compressed air on a cool/low setting to gently clean.
11. Do you teach classes?
Yes! I host public and private classes throughout the year. From “Bring Your Own Mug” arrangements to book bouquets, wreaths, pumpkins, and seasonal projects, my classes are a fun way to create with wood flowers. Private DIY classes are also available for groups, parties, or team events.

I’m a one-woman show, meaning you get personal attention every step of the way.
Weddings come with sample and final approval photos so there are no surprises on your big day.
Select arrangements include handmade trays and boxes built by my husband, adding an extra layer of craftsmanship.
14. Class Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of our wood flower classes and the preparation required for each event, all ticket purchases are nonrefundable.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, the following options are available:
• Transfer your ticket to another person for the same class
• Transfer your ticket to another class within the 2026 calendar year
• Apply the value of your ticket toward a custom wood flower order
• Request a take-home kit (when applicable)
Please note: • If transferring your ticket to another person, you must provide their full name and email address so they can receive class details and be included in check-in
• If transferring to another class, you must notify us of the class you would like to attend at least 1 week in advance, and transfer is subject to availability
• It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to select a new class they wish to attend
• Class transfers must be requested prior to the scheduled class time
• Take-home kits must be picked up or can be shipped for an additional fee
• No-shows without prior notice will forfeit all options
In the rare event that Tipsy Designs must cancel a class, you will be offered: • A full refund
• A take-home kit
• Transfer to a rescheduled class
